Run run run!

Oh man… I do have a problem updating! Haha but it’s okay, it’ll be better! Moreover, I’m doing it now!

Anyway, Easter was such a great time, and time flies! It’s already the end of this week, and school’s starting already! But it’s been a good one week! Doing a lot of things, experiencing different situations, but what matters is I really need to think and reflect the week – on the things I have done, and how I can work on myself, on the certain thoughts that have went through my mind!

Had a great talk with Fe, and I believe I know where’s my point B now! So, gotta work this out with myself and importantly, with God. Life is full of ups and downs, highs and lows, and we experience different things at very different times.

The bible says that there is a season to everything, a season in our lives, and I believe too – seasons in the seasons of our lives. There is always a course to decide and to take at certain points of our lives, a path to walk at various stages of our growth, but one thing’s for sure: there is only one thing that doesn’t change with the change in the seasons of our lives – learning. (Of course God is the only One that doesn’t change if everything changes and dies!)

God is good. He gives us the brain and power to learn, to think, to observe, to capture. What would life mean if all we did was just one same thing for the rest of our lifetime?

What good will it be to your life if it was only the good things, if it was only about success, and just about doing well? At the end of the day, we’ll just run our lives at the speed of light, but fail pathetically in slowing down and looking at life as a gift from God, and appreciating the beauty of how God created and purposed our life to be.

And obviously, a life only of the downs is devastating. Haha no one would want it!

Life’s exciting not because of the ups and downs, it is because of the journey down and up, up and down. When bad things happen, or even when things don’t go our way, we really wish that what has happened doesn’t happen. But that’s how God created and purposed life, and allows it! Life’s exciting because of the journey in between the downs and ups, of the climb upwards from the pits of our lives.

During this journey comes the excitement of life! Haha we learn, we grow, we change!

There is so much more to life! Let’s walk it altogether man!

Love your life, cherish it now. God has a perfect plan for your life!

Surrendered for passion, surrendered for us.

You had every reason to lay down the cup.

Surrendered in asking, in whispering please.

Your will through the cross and Your will through me.

Surrendered and broken, surrendered by choice.

To bleed in a sinner’s place and count it as joy.

Surrendered in heartache, in knowing the pain,

Of wearing the crown of thorns and bearing the nails

‘Cause I would be willing to lay down this life,

Willing to take up the cross and deny.

All so You’d be glorified.

These hands these feets, they’re Yours not mine.

The work of calvary,

The blood that redeems,

Ever demands my all,

All so You’d be glorified.

Surrendered completely, I find that I’m free,

All that this world can hold can never hold me.

Back in action!

I’m finally back! Haha. Back with a simple blog – easy to see, attractive to post. That’s what blogging should be man!

It’s been ages since I last blogged. I think I’ve stopped ever since last October!

But anyway, I was just looking through blogs, and then I came upon Deleon’s blog. And as I was reading through his blog, it suddenly sparked in me that it’s so interesting to read about lives, and likewise, it’ll be interesting too to let people know about my life! So I’ve decided to make a commitment to restart my blog again, and talk more about life! Haha. Life’s great!

Moreover, Sam told me to update, so I gotta do it man! Haha. So here it goes – let’s talk about life being great!

God says in the bible that whoever believes in Him shall not only have eternal life in heaven, but also an abundant life on earth. What a great verse, what a great saying!

Life has been so abundant compared to the time before I came to Christ! God is a good God. I believe that in my past seasons of stretching and dying, and suffering in the flesh, God has been so faithful to me. My dreams are all coming true, and life is just so exciting! My life has no lack of anything because I believe God provides, and I know that whoever walks in His ways, He will honour us and bless us. There is even more to come!

Life is so abundant because I’m not just living for myself, I’m living for others too! It’s all back to the basics of changing lives, building people. Through us, the darkened world sees light. We are God’s hands and feet. We shine for Jesus.

This week’s super exciting! CG prayer meeting today, lunch with Wynn and Pheno pract tmrw, outing with Zack on Thurs and might have Pheno pract at night, and finally to the climax – Easter services on Friday and Saturday!

See! Now can you see and understand the abundant life that God has blessed us with? Everyday’s an exciting day!

Love and breakthroughs!

Thank You for the promises You’ve made,
For the gift of life You gave
Always,
I will sing Your praise
